Visit Portumna - Accessibility
Responsive design to the latest standards.
Visit Portumna is built using HTML5 and CSS3, designed to maximise readability on a large variety of devices. Images and layout are also optimised to reduce data costs for visitors using mobile devices.
Visit Portumna also allows native playback of audio and video, so that anyone using a modern internet browser will be capable of viewing content on the site without the need of additional “plug-in” software. It is strongly recommended to use a modern browser, not just to get the best experience from sites such as Visit Portumna, but also to improve your online security. Look for the latest download for a browser such as Firefox, Chrome, Opera or Safari today.
Accessibility for all.
Visit Portumna was designed from the start to be accessible to all. In particular, every care has been taken to make the site accessible for keyboard-only input. Navigation has been streamlined, without unnecessary visual effects. Work is still ongoing to make the site as accesible as possible on mobile devices and smaller computer screens. A complete sitemap can be accessed both from the “About” menu and from a link in the footer of each page. Tabbed outlines have not been altered, so you can rely on the usual behaviour from your internet browser of choice.
Visit Portumna remains committed to this principle, and welcomes any feedback on accessibility. If there is anything that you feel needs to be changed, or any new techniques or design that you feel the website would benefit from, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us here, or send an email from your own account to firstname.lastname@example.org.
